This podcast mainly focuses on the struggles that women face who were part of high-control groups or cults and how they had to undergo many struggles in their lives to deal with oppression, unfair treatment, and disrespect because of their gender.
It is a forum where women can empower other women and help them to gain knowledge and strength, and enhance their ability to communicate and have a voice in society.
Because women generally outnumber their male counterparts, they are more likely to be unpartnered, thus are left being the major bread winner in their families. Many times they are left raising children alone and struggling to care for the daily needs of their family. Yet, they are not given the respect that comes along with that responsibility; they are taken for granted and not taken seriously.
